Abstract:

This article represents a compilation and revision of the present state of art in the application of geophysical methods in archaeological prospections in Spain. It was collected a large quantity of bibliography to enable the survey of Spanish archaeological sites studied by geophysical methods. Part of this survey is based on local reports which are not easily accessible and which difficult the creation of the data base. The objective of the cataloging is to present how far this geophysical archaeological collaborations reached and to establish a base for future studies. The geophysical methods are increasingly employed as an important tool in archeology and this compilation can serve to researches and related persons in this area.
