Abstract:

The aim of this study is to update the knowledge that nowadays we have about the Roman houses from Osca. Unfortunately, since it happens in other cities superposed to the ancient cities, the remains are scanty, fragmentary and, sometimes, with a doubtful domestic adscription. In spite of these problems, we provide a new interpretation of the spaces of the Casa de las Ro- setas and the study of the Roman paintings founded in the archeological excavations of c/ Dormer and c/ Aínsa. In consequence, we think that this information and hypotheses could constitute the base of future works.
