Abstract:
In this paper we aim to summarise what we know about the town by offering an updated overview from the Augustan period to the 4th century. We begin with its foundation, situating it within its territory, before moving on to the monumental buildings, starting with the first walls from the Augustan period, which were remodelled at the end of the 3rd century AD. From the wall, we first pass through the extramural spaces to finally enter the urban area.
