Abstract:
This work deals with a Roman female statue, found in the remains of a difficult-to-interpret Roman building located west of Tarraco. Fur this purpose, the iconographic, technical and stylistic characteristics of the sculpture are considered. It also takes into account its archaeological context. Based on its study and its comparison with parallels, it is proposed to identify the statue as a representation of Salus. The sculpture is dated at the beginning of the imperial period.
