Abstract:
The fnding of a Roman coin inside an Islamic tomb in the maqbara (necrop- olis) of Tauste (Zaragoza) is introduced. This piece is an as of the emperor Tibe- rius, minted in Caesaraugusta in the frst half of the 1st century AD. Its location in an Islamic grave is due to its preservation inside a mud brick that was part of the covering/flling of the tomb.
