Abstract:

A polemic (and trascendent) aspect to value historically Julius Caesar is the possibility of the existence of a political project, that could inspire his politics of government. In this case, there are two possibilities of interpretation, between an Helenistic influence or, against its, and origin in the Roman tradition. The analysis made in this study leads us to consider the existence of a political program in Caesar, in the begining under the light of popular politics, but finally done under the inspiration of a monarchic conception of Hellenistic origin.
