La Costa de la Serra: un nucli fortificat romanorepublicà al Camp de Tarragona
Abstract:
In this article, we present the first results of the research carried out at the Roman-Republican site of Costa de la Serra, located in the central area of Camp de Tarragona . Fieldwork conducted since 2014 in annual campaigns allowed uncovering a unique building dating from the end of the 2nd -beginning of the 1st century BC, with residential as well as fortification features . We briefly describe the building and the materials found in the excavations and conclude with a proposal for interpretation .
