Abstract:

Las excavaciones arqueológicas desarrolladas entre 2005 y 2008 en el yacimiento de Sebes (Flix,Tarragona) han identificado un hábitat de la primera edad del hierro y una necrópolis contemporánea. En general se trata de cremaciones secundarias enterradas bajo túmulos circulares. Se presentan los primeros resultados de estas intervenciones, así como de los análisis paleoantropológicos, las dataciones por C14 y las prospecciones geomagnéticas.

The archaeological research between 2005 and 2008 at the site of Sebes (Flix, Tarragona). have identified an habitat of the early Iron Age and a contemporary burial site. In general the interrements are secondary cremations buried under circular tumulus. We focus on the first results of these interventions, as well as on the paleoanthropological analyses, the radiocarbon dating and geophysical surveys.
