Las relaciones entre la Silla del Papa y Baelo Claudia en los siglos II-I a. C.
Abstract:
Attempts to locate the pre-Roman settlement that would develop into the city of Baelo Claudia during the Early Empire have been constant since the beginning of the past century. The latest works in La Silla del Papa have allowed the confirmation of the existence of an oppidum that would be abandoned at the same time that the city of Baelo Claudia was founded in the inlet of Bolonia, where a small settlement dedicated to the exploitation of salting fish had been located since the middle of the 2nd century BC. We make a first approach to their relationships during the period that both sites coexisted.
