Abstract:
This paper is part of the Figlinae Hispanae (FIGHISP) project, as part of the agreement between the Catalan Institute of Classical Archeology and the Capitoline Superintendence of Rome, which involves the study of the Hispanic amphorae from the Museum of the Imperial Forums in Rome. A large part of these amphorae are attributable to Baetican productions of the Dressel 20 type, and the most interesting aspect, unlike other specimens such as those from Monte Testaccio, is that they are intact containers. Most of these amphorae probably come from the fossa aggeris of the Castra Praetoria, but other specimens of later chronology and unknown provenance are also found, but certainly from Rome.
