Les prospeccions arqueològiques a la Conca de Barberà: resultats de la campanya de 2021
Abstract:
In 2021 we conducted archaeological surveys in the framework of a research project ofthe Catalan Institute of Classical Archaeology named Territorial occupation and theevolution of settlement patterns in Western Cesetania during Protohistory. Fieldwork wasdeveloped in western and northern zones of the Conca de Barberà region (Tarragona,Spain). The purpose of the survey was twofold: first, to revise protohistoric archaeologicalsites included in the official Archaeological Map of the region, in order to check theirstate of preservation and scientific potential. Secondly, to revise areas with noarchaeological data recorded so far, in order to study the protohistoric settlement ofthe region. In this paper we show the results of this archaeological intervention.
