Los nomina en la epigrafía anfórica de las ánforas Dressel 2-4 del NE de la Hispania Citerior. Cambios estructurales e implicación de las élites urbanas
Abstract:
Here we analyze the evidence provided by the amphoric stamps of the Dressel 2-4 production of the northeast coast of Hispania Citerior (present Catalan coast), especially in the Laietanian area, around Barcino (Barcelona), as well as in the area of Tarraco (Tarragona). With the appearance of these amphorae, towards the change of Era, there was a remodelling of the production, with the creation of great potteries that have provided an abundant amphoric epigraphy, although mostly reflects names of servile origin. The study of the nomina of citizens or free people mentioned in the stamps is basic for the identification of the persons involved in the production process, although the paucity of evidence makes it difficult to present reliable conclusions.
