Abstract:
Recent archaeological excavations near Mas dels Canonges (Tarragona) have provided evidence for a long period of occupation on the site (1st century BC to 7th century AD). A significant find has been that of a workshop of the Tardana B amphora and common ware ceramics dated to between the mid-6th century and the mid-7th century. This workshop confirms the Tarraconensian origin of this type and widens our knowledge about other ceramics and ceramic production centres in the Visigothic period.
