Abstract:

The generalization of new technologies, basically those of massive data capture, has revolutionized the whole world of graphic documentation, which has raised the need for a refl ection on its implementation in the world of archeology and heritage. The goodness, or not, of the application of these systems is not in their own nature, but in the use made of them and, above all, in being aware of when, where and how to apply them. Only in this way will one be able to take advantage of all its potential, which is enormous, and not fall into the massive deception that can represent its unreflective use.
