Abstract:

After the introduction in 1978 of the hypothesis of the existence of a Roman centuriation in la Plana by André Bazzana, this hypothesis has been rejected by later authors, but now some evidence had emerged to raise the possibility that indeed there had been a division of this kind in Roman times, probably in connection with the city of Saguntum, which at least should belong the Plana Baixa.
