The territory of the Roman Valentia is being analysed within a new research project, The Valentia Landscape Project, that aims to model the development of the Valencian Cultural Landscape from the Iron Age to the Modern period. An important part of this Project is focused on the Roman period, for one of its major goals is reviewing, through a new archaeomorphological analysis, the ancient road network and field systems hypothesis proposed until the time of this project. Thefirst results are presented here.
