Origen i desenvolupament d’un paisatge mediterrani: la integració de tècniques de prospecció en l’anàlisi arqueomorfològica del territori de València
Abstract:
The complex evolution of the Valencian territory makes it one the most interesting historial landscapes in Europe. But this complexity is also the main problema for its study, as intensive historial occupation and geomorphological dynamics in combination with modern changes have deeply transformed the territory. For this reason, its analysis has been integrated into a multidisciplinary project in coordination with universities of Valencia, Barcelona and Cambridge and the Catalan Institute of Classical Archaeology (ICAC). The results of the archaeomorphological analysis in GIS must be checked through fieldwork. This had included the revision of location, chronology and typology of differents archaeological sites, as well as surveying of roads and plot boundaries registered in the archaemorphological analysis.
