Abstract:

The period between the Late Roman Empire and Late Antiquity (3rd-8th centuries AD) in the Plana de Castelló represents an impasse between two periods that are better known archaeologically, namely the Altimperial and the Andalusian periods. This work aims to provide an approach to the type of occupation and use that the area of Castelló had during these centuries by means of two archaeological aspects: population dynamics and numismatic finds.
