Abstract:
Recent cleaning and partial consolidation works at Es Figueral de Son Real have clarified a few aspects at the planimetric level. In addition, observation of the structures and their stratigraphic relationships has allowed a rereading of the site that differs notably from the one released in the seventies by Rosselló Bordoy and Camps Coll. In some cases, evidences are incontestable, but in others they are hypotheses that could still be contrasted with re-excavation. An open sounding with the purpose of dating the elevated central monument has incorporated a dating between the 11th and 10th centuries B.C.E., restricting the proposal of previous authors.
