Resultats de les prospeccions pedestres i geofísiques als encontorns del Coll del Moro de Gandesa (Terra Alta)
Abstract:
In the research project of the protohistoric site of Coll Moro de Calar (Gandesa), a large-scale prospecting activity has been started, in parallel with the excavation. Methodologically, the surveys have been proposed as an extensive route model and systematic collection of all the materials visible on the surface. During the first campaign it was possible to cover an approximate area of 143 ha, within which several areas of occupation and frequentation relating to the prehistoric, Iberian and Roman periods have been identified. The objective is to continue expanding the perimeter and identify all the unpublished archaeological remains, of simultaneous chronologies with the site, located within the territorial scope close to the core of the Coll del Moro, which will open the door to studying the structure of its hinterland and the evolution of the subaltern population.
