Abstract:

In this paper we present a group of simpula found in Catalonia, and review others from the rest of Hispania. Many of them have already been published or are indirectly known, others are unpublished. Most of them are without archaeological context, but they are all interesting because they show us the importance of this bronze vessel type in Roman household domestic utensils, between the Republican period and the first years of the princedom of Augustus.
