Sistemes d’abastiment i evacuació d’aigua protohistòrics a la plana occidental catalana
Abstract:
With this paper, based on an examination and study of the main hydraulic structures built during protohistory on the present-day Lleida Plain, we aim to make our small contribution to the body of knowledge on the different solutions devised by humanity for managing water. An exhaustive compilation of information and its comparison and complementation with a field study has allowed us to increase the information we have about the various protohistoric urban water supply and evacuation structures, many of which have still not been adequately studied. The results of the study have given us a more profound knowledge of the main features of the hydraulic structures and have taught us a little more about how they worked and how they were developed.
