Tarraco como modelo de ciudad insostenible
Abstract:
From archaeological excavations carried out in the city of Tarragona we can define socio-urban processes of transformation in the capital of most extensive Hispanic province of the Empire. Although the Tarraco historical trajectory and its geo-strategic position gave the city a better capacity for resistance to the inevitable changes of Late AntiquityIt, it was not a unique process in the Hispanic context. We analyze the archaeological data available in the city and its territory, along epigraphic information and historical sources.
