Abstract:
The Council of Tarragona has acquired a map of the city from an antiquarian bookshop in Paris dated during the Peninsular War (1808–1814). The map represents the fortification project of Tarragona after the siege of 1811 engaged by Marshal Suchet. The map is unpublished because it shows a non-built project, dated in 1811.
